The Permanent Secretary
The Permanent Secretary of the Bureau is Alhaji Bello Yero hails from Jalingo Local Government Area and was born in the year 1962.
He began his education at the famous Mohammed Nya Primary School, Jalingo from 1968 to 1974 and Government Secondary School, Jalingo from 1974 to 1979.
He proceeded to School of Remedial and General Studies, Bayero University Kano from 1980 to 1981 and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Relations from Bayero University Kano in 1984.
Mr. Yero worked as Administrative Officer VII in the cabinet office of the Secretary to the Military Government and the Department of Internal Affairs and Special Services Office of the Military Administrator in the defunct Gongola State.
He served as Director Internal Security, Department of Internal Security, Government House, Jalingo. He also served as Secretary in the Ministries of Finance, Commerce and Justice, Board of Internal Revenue and Local Government Service Commission.
As part of his achievements, Mr. Yero while serving as the sole Administrator of Ibi LGA successfully restored normalcy, peace and tranquillity in the area and played significant roles in uniting the people.
Also, as a career officer, Mr. Yero was able to promote the ideas of the Civil Service through efficient and effective service delivery within the ambit of the Civil Service rules.

Mr. Yero attended a workshop on Advanced Management at the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria, ASCON, Topo, Badagry, Lagos.
He enjoys reading, travelling, engaging in discussions and listening to news.
